Yesterday, the municipal team carried out disconnections as part of Operation Patala to ensure accountability and
revenue recovery.
We wish to emphasise that non-payment affects service delivery and sustainability, and while the Municipality remains
open to working with residents, businesses, and farms to find solutions, it will not hesitate to act against defaulters.
...
We urge all account holders to make payment arrangements and settle their accounts to avoid disconnections, as a culture
of payment is vital for improved services and a sustainable future in Matjhabeng.
